			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span id="more-1259"></span>Turning Earth is proud to announce that Blake Sturcke has joined the Steering Committee of Connecticut&#8217;s Solid Waste Management Advisory Committee (&#8220;SWMAC&#8221;).  As the only representative of the organics recycling industry serving on the Steering Committee, Blake will play an important role in shaping the future development of organics recycling in Connecticut.  Blake and Turning Earth look forward to this important opportunity to work side by side with Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (&#8220;DEEP&#8221;) to build organics recycling capacity in Connecticut and set a new standard for organic waste management within the state.</p>

This bi-partisan celebration has become a Washington tradition over the  past 24 years as the environmental and clean energy communities gather  to welcome a new Administration and make headway towards a more  sustainable future.  This year, more than 125 companies and organizations in the environmental and clean energy fields will  join together to highlight the importance of environmental and clean  energy challenges through bi-partisan cooperation.  This remarkable  coalescing of so many different organizations draws key Members of Congress, key Administration officials from the Environmental  Protection Agency as well as the Departments of Energy, Agriculture,  Transportation, Commerce, and Interior, key  industry representatives, and a range of supporters and interested  citizens.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span id="more-1207"></span>Turning Earth and its technology partner, Aikan A/S, along with several other partners, have been awarded a DKK 5,992,500 (approximately $ 1 million) grant from the Danish government Renewal Fund to commercialize the Aikan technology in global markets.  The Fornyelsesfonden Green Transition and Business Innovation Grant, &#8220;From Waste to Energy and Compost &#8211; A New Export Model,&#8221; allocates funds to Turning Earth and Aikan A/S for the achievement of major milestones in the commercialization of the Aikan technology in Turning Earth Triple Play facilities in North America.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span id="more-1220"></span>Amy McCrae Kessler has been elected to serve as Vice Chair of the American Biogas Council (&#8220;ABC&#8221;) for 2012-2013 by the Council&#8217;s Board of Directors.  Ms Kessler has served on the Council&#8217;s Board of Directors since 2010.  Previously a Co-Chair of the Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee, Ms. Kessler had the privilege and pleasure of working to develop the ABC&#8217;s federal government relations program, building the ABC&#8217;s most popular program from the ground up.  With her new role at ABC, Ms. Kessler will focus her energies on working with fellow Directors, staff and members to plan for and guide the ABC through its next phase of significant growth.</p>
